Happy Grandparents Day!!!

It's now time to recognize and have a little quality time spend with our grandparents. And so here at ACBS we invited all the Senior Citizen form our Barangay to have a Senior's breakfast. September 16, 2010 it was around 8 o'çlock in the morning, we had prepared a breakfast for them, had them a free health check up and a number specially conducted by our students just for our lolos and lolas! They all sure had fun! Caring and recognizing their worth is just a simple way of thanking them for all the things they have done with our lives!

Shirley as she's taking blood pressures, and the students showing their presentation for a little entertainment!

Students preparing and serving the breakfast; Sinangag, Longanisa, fried egg, cup of coffee, and macaroni soup! yummy! And while they were eating, Shirley filled the background with her voice, singing "How great is thou art"!

Our lolos and lolas, picture taking, 21 in all! And some of them got little gifts for coming early!

Time Ptra. Joy Inawasan to offer a song! She sang "Napakabuti ng ating Diyos"
Ptr. Virgilio Jacinto sharing the very Word of God, Inspired and encouraged them!

We also distributed Bibles! Indeed they were all satisfied, full with the delicious Breakfast and filled by the Word of God. They all went home wearing a smile!
They all had fun! and Pastor Virgilio Jacinto decided to conduct this kind of event with the senior citizens once every month!

A truly Grandparents Day felt!

To god be the Glory!

Final it is!

After almost three weeks of editing and designing, Administrator Ptr. Arsenio S. Viernes of ACBS Hong Kong finally decided to use this one as their First batch's logo. "SHEKINAH" means the Glory of God!

The fruit of the labor!

Last June 11-12 of this same year we had conducted the School Foundation day. We started planning for the said event since march, right after graduation. We assigned personnel for each and every committee responsible for the event's structure. The foundation concert best encouraged audiences to come, through it we had raised over half of the amount yearned. Tickets were sold out! Special Thanks to Ptr. Leo Hernandez and his group for supporting us and also to all the graduates who participated and offered their skills and talents for this event to be a successful one! To God be the Glory!

Just like how God is blessing us in return for every good work we do, he has given us the fruit of our labor with the books we desired to have for our school library. Along with the Foundation celebration we thought it is also the best time wherein we could raise funds to buy new books since we are aspiring of a "well-blessed" library which will best cater and encourage our students to study more. In the picture were Ptr. Marc and I presenting the new books we have acquired with the help of some individuals and the alumni.

God's workers!
